Brian had an extensive career with Heinz Canada as Country Head and Managing Director leading all commercial and supply chain operations nationwide. He served as Chair of the Food and Consumer Products of Canada (FCPC) Foodservice Council and as a member of the FCPC Industry Affairs Council, GS1 Foodservice Board and the Nielsen Advisory Council. Brian holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University. He also completed post-graduate executive studies at Western University, Ivey School of Business (1993/1999) and York University, Schulich Business School (2003).
Jim has over 20 years experience in investment and corporate banking at Canadian and global investment banks. Prior to becoming an independent investment banker, Jim was Managing Director and Co-Head of Mining at Macquarie Capital in Canada. Previously, Jim was Managing Director at a Canadian bank where he was responsible for managing several businesses including Credit Capital Markets, Derivatives Marketing and developing a mid-cap Mining business. Jim was also a member of the Senior Credit Committee, Investment Banking Operating Committee and Equity/Debt Capital Markets Committees.
Eugene Wusaty is a professional mining engineer with over 30 years of mining-related executive and operational experience in Canada and internationally. Most recently, Mr. Wusaty was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Coalspur Mines Ltd. Previously, he was President of Ivanhoe Mines Ltd.’s Coal Division and then Chief Operating Officer of SouthGobi Energy Resources Ltd. following its acquisition of Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. Coal Division in 2006. Prior to joining Ivanhoe Mines Ltd., Eugene Wusaty served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Grande Cache Coal Corporation.
Mark Waldron is an experienced management executive, public and private company board member, and private equity investor. He was formerly the CEO of a NYSE-Amex company, in addition to Domino’s Pizza of Canada, and has led 2 go-public transactions. A veteran entrepreneur and investment banker, he is a former Vice President of J.P. Morgan & Co., where he ran the US Hedge Fund Equity Derivatives business. He holds an undergraduate business degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a dual citizen of Canada and the United States.
